In der Reihe TPT werden Arbeiten zum spanischen- und portugiesischsprachigen Theater verschiedener Epochen mit einem Schwerpunkt im 20./21. Jahrhundert veröffentlicht. Von besonderem Interesse sind u.a. Themen wie Körper, Sexualität, Inszenierung, Gesellschaft, Historisierung, Konquista, postmodernes und postkoloniales Theater (Cuti-Bewegung), Performance, Transmedialität, Hybridisierung, teatro negro, Gender, Queer-Kultur, chicano-Kultur, Erinnerungstheater, Theater und Raum. Insbesondere setzt sich die Reihe zum Ziel, historisch und theoretisch orientierte Arbeiten zu fördern.

The TPT publishes books about Theatre in Latin American and Spanish as well as about Brazilian and Portuguese Culture of different centuries and countries. The main focus lies in the investigation of the 20th and 21th Century, on body, sexuality, scenography, society, history, Conquest, postmodern and postcolonial theatre (cuti-theatre), performance, transmediality, hybridity, black theatre culture, theatre of the memory, theatre and space. The TPT promotes especially works with a historical and theoretical orientation.
