Antisemitismus ist als gesellschaftliche und politische Erscheinung historisch wie aktuell multidimensional strukturiert und in nahezu allen sozialen Kontexten anzutreffen. Insofern ist die Erforschung der Strukturen, Kontexte und Dynamiken des Antisemitismus ebenso wenig auf eine einzelne Fachdisziplin, ein spezifisches Theoriekonzept oder einen bestimmten Forschungs- und Methodenansatz beschränkt, wie der Antisemitismus selbst. Dieser Pluralität will die Reihe „Interdisziplinäre Antisemitismusforschung“ Rechnung tragen und durch ein breites Spektrum an sozial-, kultur- und geisteswissenschaftlichen Beiträgen zur Aufklärung über Antisemitismus beitragen.


As a social and political phenomenon, antisemitism has been and continues to be structured in multiple dimensions and found in
almost every social context. Therefore, esearch into the structures, contexts and dynamics of antisemitism cannot be restricted to any one specific discipline, theoretical construct, avenue of research, or methodology - just as antisemitism itself obeys no such restrictions. The "Interdisciplinary Studies on Antisemitism" series will address this plurality, presenting a broad spectrum of research from the social sciences, cultural studies and the humanities, thus contributing to a deeper understanding of antisemitism.
