englischDuring the last fifty years, Néstor Cordero’s main focus has been Parmenides of Elea. He has published several monographs about the presocratic, along with a number of articles who are no longer accesible today. This volume now combines 20 articles by Cordero in French and Spanish that focus not only on Parmenides’ poem but also on his way of thinking and that of those considered his ‚heirs‘. Cordero argues that not only is the traditional interpretation of Parmenides to be questioned, but also the general assumption that there has been something akin to an Eleatic ‚school‘.
Seit fünfzig Jahren forscht Néstor Cordero hauptsächlich zu Parmenides von Elea. Neben einigen Monografien hat Cordero dem Eleat zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen gewidmet, von denen einige nicht mehr ohne weiteres erhältlich sind. Dieser Band enthält zwanzig Schriften von Cordero in französischer und spanischer Originalfassung, die sowohl der Rekonstruktion des Gedichttextes von Parmenides gewidmet sind als auch der Interpretation seines Denkens und das seiner "Erben". Cordero argumentiert, dass es nicht nur notwendig ist, die klassische Interpretation von Parmenides in Frage zu stellen, sondern auch, dass es grundsätzlich eine eleatische "Schule" gegeben habe.
