Emotionen sind grundlegender Bestandteil des Sozialen. Als soziale Phänomene wirken Emotionen auf politische Dynamiken und gesellschaftliche Strukturen. Umgekehrt sind sie Ausdruck gesellschaftspolitischer Verhältnisse und Veränderungen. Die interdisziplinäre Schriftenreihe „Emotionen in Politik und Gesellschaft“ bietet dieser Forschung ein Forum. Sie veröffentlicht politikwissenschaftliche, soziologische und kulturwissenschaftliche Monografien und Sammelbände und erscheint in deutscher und englischer Sprache.

This series publishes studies that deal with the meaning of emotions in political and social contexts. Emotions are a fundamental part of the social sphere. As social phenomena, emotions affect political dynamics and social structures. Conversely, they are an expression of socio-political conditions and changes. The interdisciplinary series of publications ‘Emotions in Politics and Society’ offers a forum for research into these matters. It publishes political science, sociological and cultural studies monographs and anthologies in both German and English.
