englischSustainable management that takes into account economic, ecological and social aspects is becoming increasingly important in society and politics and has therefore become a basic prerequisite for successful business management. Rapidly advancing digitalisation has not only created opportunities but also presented us with challenges on the road to possible climate neutrality.

Data with a quality in line with system-wide value networks is enabling the optimisation of the most diverse economic and ecological factors through enhanced analytical processes.

As processes that are still developing, digitalisation and data analysis can be actively shaped by companies and academics in order that they take into account necessary sustainability goals. In this way, it will not only be possible to disconnect the rapid growth of digital technologies from resource consumption and prevent it from having negative effects on the ecological environment, but also to convert its synergetic potential into sustainable value enhancement in the long term.
