englischAround 40 million people in Germany sell their labour. But these employees’ working conditions do not always correspond to their expectations. So how do employees deal with conflicts regarding the sale and use of their labour? And how does this influence their acceptance of the order of their working world? Based on a qualitative study, this book provides an overview of demands from employees and an insight into various forms of conflict management. It shows how biographically anchored coping mechanisms can resolve conflicts or rather contain them. These subjective forms of dealing with conflicts can have a stabilising effect on the legitimacy of the order of the working world.
