englisch„Paris 1919-1920: Peace through Law?“ – In this volume, which unites essays by the historian Marcus Payk, the political scientist Herfried Münkler and the international lawyers Claus Kreß and Angelika Nußberger, this question is considered not only in its historical context. In addition, the essays take the issue beyond the years of 1919 and 1920 and the Inter-War-Period and reflect on it with in light of the present and possible future configuration(s) of the international order. For, the current state of world politics urgently requires attention being given to the question whether more support is needed for the maintenance of a strong international legal order in the service of world peace.
