englischOn 27/28 October 2016, the „Academic Association for the Entirety of Regulatory Law” held its third symposium at Georg August University in Göttingen. The topic was “Regulation – Competition – Innovation”. The conference dealt with the challenges digitization poses for antitrust, regulation, and media law. Sector-specific approaches (for energy, telecommunications, and broadcasting) as well as horizontal approaches (data protection, fundamental issues) were taken. The conference was divided into the categories “Energy 4.0 – Smart Grids and Smart Markets in an Era of Progressive Digitization”, “Broadcasting Regulation in the Internet Era”, “Data Protection, Regulation, Competition”, “Telecommunications in Transition”, and “Fundamental Issues”. The third volume of the series contains the lectures given at the symposium and a conference report.
