englischIn its first part, this publication records the key results of the research project Sociocultural Sustainability and its Legal Framework: Focus Periphery. On the one hand, the authors discuss the cooperation between and the identity of regional actors in the peripheral region of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. On the other, they present the legal framework for promoting sustainability in the area. The second part of the book comprises two studies on the role of cultural education in sustainable regional development and on the role of participation in sustainable planning. Finally, ideas from practical representatives of the national park region are presented.

Diese Publikation dokumentiert in einem ersten Teil zentrale Ergebnisse des Forschungsprojekts Soziokulturelle Nachhaltigkeit und ihre rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen: Fokus Peripherie (SoNaR-P). Dabei wird zum einen auf Zusammenarbeit und Identität von regionalen Akteuren in der peripheren Region Nationalpark Hunsrück-Hochwald (NLP HH) eingegangen. Zum anderen werden rechtliche Rahmenbedingungen für Nachhaltigkeitsförderung in der Peripherie dargestellt. Das zweite Teil des Buches umfasst zwei wissenschaftliche Beiträge: zur Rolle kultureller Bildung für die nachhaltige Regionalentwicklung und zur Rolle der Partizipation in der nachhaltigen Planung. Abschließend werden Impulse von Praxisvertreter:innen der Nationalparkregion festgehalten.
