englischThe history of international is internationally and globally an extending discipline. The papers of this volume are concerned with the history of international law between universality and particularity of international law. The papers of the first part are dealing directly or indirectly with questions of the universality of international law and a global historiography of international law. The papers of the second part are analyzing different problems of the particular European international law or law of nations. Except the fifth paper, all papers appeared between 2008 and 2015. This volume follows the first volume of my papers “Von der Staatengesellschaft zur Weltrepublik?” from 2009.
