englischCircumstances of life can be called hospitable (wirtlich) if they are favourable to both our existence and the preservation of nature. They are conditions of existence in the ecological sense. This study discusses how hospitable conditions can come about socially and economically and be sustainable under the guiding concepts of communal and individual stewardship and care. This is attributed to human actors as a task of design, with the author discussing the function of the ecological host in many different ways. In view of the critical developments in the environment, he or she helps to ensure that social and natural conditions in his or her own circle of life and in global contexts become and remain hospitable.
Wirtlich können Lebensverhältnisse heißen, die günstig sind für unser Dasein wie auch für den Erhalt der Natur. Sie sind im ökologischen Sinne Existenzbedingungen. Wie wirtliche Verhältnisse sozial und wirtschaftlich zustande kommen und nachhaltig sein können, wird unter Leitbegriffen gemeinschaftlicher und individueller Haushaltung und Versorgung erörtert und humanen Akteuren als Gestaltungsaufgabe zugeschrieben. Vielseitig diskutiert wird die Funktion des ökologischen Wirts, der angesichts der kritischen Entwicklungen in der Umwelt daran mitwirkt, dass soziale und natürliche Verhältnisse im eigenen Lebenskreis und in globalen Zusammenhängen wirtlich werden und wirtlich bleiben.
