Schriften zum Kunst- und Kulturrecht

Kunst und Kultur sind Merkmal und Ausdruck des Menschseins. Recht als Grundordnung menschlichen Zusammenlebens ist vielfach mit ihnen befasst. Kunst- und kulturrechtliche Fragestellungen finden sich im Privat-, Straf- und öffentlichen Recht, im Internationalen Privatrecht, im Völker- wie Europarecht.
Die „Schriften zum Kunst- und Kulturrecht“ verstehen sich als Forum für kulturell-juristische Themen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Sie vereinen Werke aus allen Rechtsgebieten der drei Rechtsordnungen Deutschlands, Österreichs und der Schweiz sowie aus dem Völker- und Europarecht und dokumentieren auf diese Weise die Bedeutung und Vielgestaltigkeit des Kunst- und Kulturrechts.

Art and culture are characteristics and expressions of being human. Law, as the basic order of human coexistence, is often concerned with them. Issues of cultural law and art law are dealt with in civil law, criminal law, and public law, in private international law, public international law, as well as European law.

The “Writings on Art Law and Cultural Law” are to be considered as a forum for cultural legal topics in the German-speaking world. They combine works from all areas of law of the legal systems of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as from public international law and European law, thereby documenting the significance and diversity of art law and cultural law.
