In this work, Christina Stich examines the connection between migration, integration and development in adolescence. She elaborates on the challenges that young people with a migrant background have to face in the integration process in Germany and classifies language acquisition and dealing with cultural and traditional values as particularly influential factors in this respect.

Wissen über den Einfluss der beiden Aspekte auf die Entwicklung von Jugendlichen ist dabei essenziell, um ein harmonisches gesellschaftliches Zusammenleben der nächsten Generation zu gewährleisten. Christina Stich untersucht in dieser Arbeit den Zusammenhang von Migration, Integration und Entwicklung im Jugendalter. Sie zeigt Herausforderungen auf, denen Jugendliche mit Migrationshintergrund im Integrationsprozess in Deutschland gewachsen sein müssen, und stuft den Spracherwerb und den Umgang mit kulturellen und traditionellen Werten als besonders einflussreiche Faktoren ein.
