The participation concept created by Tabea Achenbach combines the ICF classification with the capability/-ies approach as well as theories of power and democracy. Transformative education serves as a link between theoretical orientation and practical implementation of empowerment on all levels of action in social work. Therefore, the players are given practical guidance on how to align transformatively their psychosocial field of action.
With this study, the author received the kbo-Innovationspreis Mental Health|Sozialpsychiatrie 2018/2019.
Transformative Bildung ermöglicht das Verstehen von Wirkungszusammenhängen widersprüchlicher Zustände. Durch gezielte Handlungsstrategien entstehen dabei gerechtere Strukturen. Das von Tabea Achenbach erstellte Teilhabekonzept verbindet die ICF-Klassifikation mit dem Capability/-ies Approach sowie Macht- und Demokratietheorien. Die Transformative Bildung dient hierbei als Bindeglied zwischen theoretischer Ausrichtung und praktischer Durchführung des Empowerments auf alle Handlungsebenen der Sozialen Arbeit. Somit werden die AkteurInnen ganz praktisch angeleitet, wie sie ihr psychosoziales Handlungsfeld transformativ ausrichten können.
Mit der vorliegenden Studie hat die Autorin den kbo-Innovationspreis Mental Health|Sozialpsychiatrie 2018/2019 gewonnen.
