Die Kunden des Mühldorfer Kramers Franciscus Schmidt ließen ihre Einkäufe anschreiben: Die Schuldbücher geben daher Einblick in das Warensortiment, das von Strümpfen, Stoffen und Bändern bis hin zu Gewürzen und getrocknetem Fisch reichte. Schmidts Kunden waren vor allem Bürger, Handwerker und Geistliche aus der Stadt und dem bayerischen Umland. Die 7000 Einträge der „Strazza“, die von 1684 bis 1687 geführt wurde, bilden die Grundlage dieser Studie zu Handel und Konsum, die für das 17. Jahrhundert eine Forschungslücke schließt.

Schmidt's customers were mainly citizens, craftsmen and clergy from the city and the Bavarian surrounding area. The 7000 entries of the "Strazza", which was kept from 1684 to 1687, form the basis of this study on trade and consumption, which closes a research gap for the 17th century.
