Die Kindheitspädagogik (Frühkindliche Bildung und Erziehung) gewinnt bundesweit an Bedeutung. Dennoch gab es bislang kein Lehrbuch, das die relevanten Rechtsgebiete in kompakter Form darstellt. Diese Lücke soll das vorliegende Werk schließen. Behandelt werden neben u.a. das Verfassungsrecht, das Vertrags- und Haftungsrecht, das Familienrecht, das Recht der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, wichtige existenzsichernde Sozialleistungen für Kinder und deren Familien sowie das Arbeitsrecht.
Die Auswahl der Themen orientiert sich an den Bedürfnissen von Studium und Praxis. Ein umfangreiches Stichwortverzeichnis erleichtert die Suche nach einzelnen Themen. Praxishinweise und Beispiele veranschaulichen den Lehrstoff.

Nevertheless, until now there has been no textbook that presents the areas of law which relate to this field in a compact form. This work is intended to rectify this shortcoming. It covers constitutional law, contract and liability law, family law, child and youth welfare law, important social benefits for children and their families, and labour law.
The selection of topics the book examines is based on the needs of study and practice. Its extensive index facilitates searching for individual topics, while practical tips and examples illustrate the subject matter.
The authors are judges, lawyers and mediators who teach in Esslingen and Ludwigsburg.
