englischThe influence of the key performance indicator “reputation” on a company’s cash flow and the contribution that corporate communications can make to a company’s success are presented in a case study from the German energy market.
The overall model generated here for “value- and impact-oriented corporate communications” shows researchers a new approach to holistic problem resolution in communications throughout a company. It makes it possible to measure the performance of communications using business methods to rate the enterprise value (cash flow) in relation to reputation as a target parameter and influencing factor for value-creating communications. As a practical instrument based on knowledge theory, this model demonstrably optimises, quantifies and evaluates corporate communications and can be applied broadly in practice.
