englischCurrent diagnoses of time and social theoretical perspectives suggest that we are currently experiencing a turning point that challenges the established forms of knowledge of modernity. The essential constitutive elements of this turning point can be understood as phenomena of the unavailable, the setting for which lies in the areas of (a) social relations with nature, (b) human-technology interactions and (c) political mobilisation. The aim of the contributions is to systematise the social thematisation of the turning point and the phenomena of the unavailable that emerge in it, based on a sociological, philosophical and cultural studies multiperspectivity, and thus to draw the contours of a sociology of the un/available.
Aktuelle Zeitdiagnosen und gesellschaftstheoretische Perspektiven legen nahe, dass wir gegenwärtig eine Zäsur erleben, die die etablierten Wissensformen der Moderne herausfordern. Die wesentlichen Konstitutiva dieser Zäsur können als Phänomene des Unverfügbaren gefasst werden, deren Schauplatz in den Bereichen (a) gesellschaftliche Naturverhältnisse, (b) Mensch-Technik-Interaktionen und (c) politische Mobilisierung liegt. Ziel der Beiträge ist es, ausgehend von einer soziologischen, philosophischen und kulturwissenschaftlichen Multiperspektivität die gesellschaftliche Thematisierung der Zäsur und der sich darin abzeichnenden Phänomene des Unverfügbaren zu systematisieren und so die Konturen einer Soziologie des Un/Verfügbaren zu zeichnen.
