In this book, it will be shown that Martin Heidegger already thought about the relation of measure and being throughout his lifetime. He does realize that this current relation is based on homogenisation and calculation. Along the thought of Heidegger’s, the question is pursued if a consideration of a new sense of giving measure could take place and how this could be fruitful for a future that is conscious of its past.
In einem Zeitalter immer komplexerer Krisen und Probleme stellt sich die Frage, ob unser Zugang zu unserer Lebenswelt und zu unserer Seinsweise eigentlich maßvoll ist. In diesem Buch wird gezeigt, dass bereits Martin Heidegger Zeit seines Lebens die Frage nach einem Verhältnis von Maß und Sein bedacht hat. Er bemerkt, dass dieses Verhältnis bisher auf einem Homogenisierungs- und Berechnungsextrem fundiert ist. An Heideggers Denken entlang wird die Frage mitverfolgt, ob es nicht eine Besinnung zu einer anderen Maßgabe gibt und wie diese für eine geschichtsbewusste Zukunft fruchtbar werden könnte.
