englischDespite the imminent shutdown of the last nuclear power plants, nuclear law has not lost its relevance. Quite the contrary, from the current rulings by the highest courts, to the recently reformed radiation protection law, to the question of the disposal of nuclear waste, there are still great challenges to be overcome in the future. It is therefore all the more gratifying that around 170 participants gathered in Berlin to discuss these current issues. The lectures given by practitioners, scientists and others at the 15th German Symposium on Nuclear Law were made possible and necessary by the changes to nuclear law. In addition to presenting those lectures, this book documents the discussions among the symposium participants in several reports.
