This method of penology is working by logical, semantic and pragmatic analysis of the elements of the criminal offense and involves the modern theories of action, norms and causality.
Die in diesem Band enthaltenen Abhandlungen werden durch das ihnen gemeinsame Anliegen verbunden, zur Analyse der „Grammatik“ der Allgemeinen Straftatlehre beizutragen, also zur Klärung der Regeln, die festlegen, was in der die Straftat konstituierenden Sprache sinnvoll gesagt werden kann. Eine analytisch ausgerichtete Strafrechtswissenschaft in diesem Sinne will unter Rückgriff auf die Ergebnisse der neueren Handlungs-, Normen- und Kausalitätstheorie durch eine logische, semantische und pragmatische Analyse der Straftatelemente bei der Lösung strafrechtsdogmatischer Probleme behilflich sein.
