englischThe application of social scientific theories is common in practice. However, it usually does not follow any explicit methodology. Furthermore the methodologies of social sciences do not provide any method. They are confined to the testing and development of theories. This volume presents a method for applying social scientific theories and results. The method is based on Peirce's explications of hypothetic inference and abduction as well as on Carnap’s two-stage-conception and the scientific structuralism. It is especially applicable in the social psychological reinterpretation of legal norms because the experimental approach, usually common within social psychology, would fail there. The method is applied exemplarily for parts of employment law. Further fields of application are illustrated.
