englischThis thesis deals with the determinacy and normativity of the language of criminal acts. Its central objective is a meaning-theoretical elucidation of the nullum crimen-principle that can do justice both to the constitutional and state-theoretical demands of this principle and to the reality of language. Through interdisciplinary analysis and systematic evaluation of a plurality of theories of language and meaning, the author aims to contribute to the development of a legal theory of meaning that can be applied to the problem areas of the determinacy and binding nature of criminal acts.
