englischThis volume studies the protagonists involved in ‘Christian Pacifism’ in the 20th century and subjects their ideas to critical appraisal. These ideas are presented in the same way they were embedded in the authors’ biographies. What unites the authors’ different positions are their efforts to attribute the condemnation of war to Christian theology. However, the writers disagree on the question of how to implement this condemnation institutionally. This collection of studies documents a series of lectures held at Leibniz University, Hannover in the summer semester of 2015.
