englischIn the last decades, the use of the internet by children and young people has risen sharply. The main concern here is for those children and adolescents who show a strongly above-average use and whose use is accompanied by clear impairments. For the media pedagogical perspective, the educational system and the system of child and youth welfare, it is also a matter of exerting preventive educational influence and promoting (media) competences that enable self-determined media use. The aim of this volume is to contribute to compiling current findings, to take into account the perspectives of young people and to discuss prevention and intervention measures.
