englischUnlimited access to information and new economic opportunities – the benefits stemming from the digital transformation are manifold. At the same time it´s challenges are numerous: economic, political and societal activities are contested by technologies and calling for new responses. Measuring this transformation from a legal point of view was the objective of the 60th Research Assistants' Conference in Public Law, which took place in March 2020 in Trier. The contributions collected in this volume reflect their results. Taking different approaches and perspectives, young scholars from German speaking countries, enquire and discuss the opportunities and challenges for states and their legal framework raised by the digital transformation.
