englischThose affected are often helpless in the face of violations of personal rights on the Internet: the infringing content is sometimes deleted, but the person affected cannot easily obtain information about the identity of the user. For a long time, the general right to information failed due to a data protection law authorization norm. There was only the (unsuccessful) possibility of taking criminal action against unknown persons in order to obtain information. As a result, protection under civil law simply ran empty for years. The legislature's interim improvements can do little to change this. In order to protect the constitutionally guaranteed right of personality, an independent civil right to third-party information must be introduced.
