englischThe book is a reconstruction of the works of Adolf Portmann (1897–1982) as contributions (1) to a philosophical anthropology as the foundation of a theory of education and socialization related to psychology of ontogenetic development, (2) to biosemiotics and (3) to an critical theory of the technical civilization of modern capitalism. The paradigm of Portmann ist characterized by the transition of the dualism of nature and culture going beyond cartsianism and the mechanical and functional understanding of causality in science. Man is defined as nature with incoporated spirit. The author of this reconstruction of Portmann’s works explains some autobiographical ways to understand what Portmann means for himself.
Rekonstruiert wird das Werk von Adolf Portmann (1897–1982) mit den drei Schwerpunkten seiner Beiträge (1) zur Philosophischen Anthropologie als Grundlage der entwicklungspsychologisch orientierten Sozialisationsforschung, (2) zur semiotischen Theorie der Natur und (3) der humanistischen Kulturkritik der kapitalistisch-technischen Zivilisation als Entwicklungsdimensionen seines Werkes. Der Mensch wird als Naturwesen mit Geist als Sonderwesen in der Natur charakterisiert. Portmann entfaltet ein Paradigma der Einheit von Natur und Kultur jenseits des Cartesianismus und jenseits eines naturwissenschaftlichen Reduktionismus auf Mechanik, Kausalität und Funktionalismus. Der Autor integriert einige autobiographische Aspekte als Zugang zum Werk von Portmann.
