englischDigitalisation has instigated fundamental change in all areas of life, which has resulted in not only advantages but also unintended side effects. The DiDaT (Digitale Daten als Gegenstand eines transdisziplinären Prozesses) project examines these inadvertent side effects or ‘unseens’ of the digital revolution. DiDaT involved a transdisciplinary process in which over 150 experts from academia and the working world identified relevant unintentional consequences of the use of digital data in the fields of:

  • mobility,
  • health,
  • agriculture,
  • the future of small and middle-sized companies, and
  • the use of social media.
  • They subsequently developed socially robust guidelines with which to deal with those side effects. The findings of the DiDaT project are summarised in this White Paper.
