englischSupranational law seems to increasingly influence national law. This is also assumed to be the case for collective bargaining law, which is exposed to a superstructure of international law in addition to the determinants of European Union law. Daniel Schmidt examines the interaction of the legal systems, starting with a legal methodological approach based on the principle of sovereignty under international law and German constitutional law. On this basis, he determines the scope of the supranational provisions on collective bargaining law and answers the questions of the binding effect of the parties to collective agreements on supranational law and the interpretation of collective agreements in conformity with international and Union law.
