englischGerman IP and media law is increasingly influenced by harmonizing EU law and other European legal acts. This influence is particularly visible in areas explicitly governed by EU law, such as IP, data protection and competition law. However, European requirements and developments also increasingly influence areas of law such as media law, which are primarily left to the regulatory competence of the member states. Therefore, the 7th GRUR Junge Wissenschaft conference focused on the Europeanization of these areas of law and their limits: Where has harmonization or unification succeeded, where failed? Where should national differences be overcome, where should they remain? The ideas, developed by the presenting young researchers, are presented in this edited volume.
