The war in Ukraine has once again put the efficiency of migration law to the test. The Yearbook of Migration Law offers legal practitioners a quick, concise overview of the most important developments in residence law, refugee law, citizenship law and refugee social law in case law (European and national), legislation and legal literature, as well as (selected) topics in social science migration research. The contributions argue for a change of perspective towards a "proactive" migration law and address problems of the increased acceptance of multiple citizenship in the planned reform of the citizenship law.

Der Krieg in der Ukraine hat die Leistungsfähigkeit des Migrationsrechts erneut auf die Probe gestellt. Das Jahrbuch des Migrationsrechts bietet den Rechtsanwender:innen einen schnellen, konzisen Überblick über die wichtigsten Entwicklungen im Aufenthaltsrecht, Flüchtlingsrecht, Staatsangehörigkeitsrecht und Flüchtlingssozialrecht in der Rechtsprechung (europäisch wie national), Gesetzgebung und rechtswissenschaftlicher Literatur sowie über (ausgewählte) Themen in der sozialwissenschaftlichen Migrationsforschung. Der Beitragsteil plädiert für einen Perspektivenwechsel hin zu einem "proaktiven" Migrationsrecht und widmet sich Problemen der vermehrten Hinnahme von Mehrstaatigkeit bei der geplanten Reform des Staatsangehörigkeitsrechts.
