englischThe current demographic and epidemiological change is a challenge for the polity, politics and policy of public social infrastructure (health and nursing care services etc.). The societal answer to the challenge of individual and collective ageing should be a spatial turn in the policy of social capital formation as a production function of social networks in a local and regional context. Social care includes much more than questions about long-time nursing care policies. Questions about the optimisation of post-hospital transitional pathway management, the functionality of bridging activities which cross the no-care zone and asking for the role of cooperative, reciprocal networks are also very important. This is to be understood from the perspective of normative and legal frameworks - the idea of inclusion - including the value-oriented social preferences of personal relational autonomy and the participation of the people in their local and regional communities in urban and rural areas.
