englischThe personal relationship within a family business often leads to conflicts developing into long-term, complex and emotionally motivated disputes. The solution to such a situation requires a flexible strategy of action, which systematically selects the appropriate dispute resolution proceeding from the multitude of judicial and extrajudicial dispute resolution techniques.

For the conception of such a comprehensive conflict management strategy, the author analyses the typical situation of interest in a conflict within a family business and answers the questions to be solved: Which conflict resolution methods are suitable for use in a family business? How can a systematic and, in individual cases, appropriate choice of procedure be guaranteed? And how can one ensure that, in the event of a dispute, the actors also adhere to the conflict resolution strategy that has been put in place?
