englischNot only do terrorist actors interact with supporters loyal to their cause, but there is also interaction between such actors. Although relationships between terrorist actors can have serious consequences, they are rarely the subject of research. This work aims at filling that gap. Based on a self-developed typology of terrorist group interaction and building on international theories, it illuminates the history of the so-called ‘Big Three’ of West German left-wing terrorism, revealing both the forms and causes of the relationship between the Red Army Faction, the Movement of 2nd June and the Revolutionary Cells.
