englischFrom 2020 to 2023, the coronavirus pandemic affected all areas of life worldwide. The protection of life and health was at the forefront of politics and administration in Germany. Far-reaching regulations and laws intervened in people's lives, the economy and social life. A wide range of legal, economic and social science questions arise about the political-administrative crisis management of the Corona crisis. Researchers from the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration of North Rhine-Westphalia took an interim look at the corona management of the first months of the pandemic in Germany in 2021. They are now presenting their differentiated analysis at the end of the pandemic.

Die Corona-Pandemie betraf 2020 bis 2023 weltweit alle Lebensbereiche. Der Schutz von Leben und Gesundheit stand dabei für die Politik und Verwaltung in Deutschland im Vordergrund. Mit weitreichenden Verordnungen und Gesetzen wurde in die Lebensgestaltung der Menschen, die Wirtschaft und das gesellschaftliche Leben eingegriffen. Es stellen sich vielfältige rechts-, wirtschafts- und sozialwissenschaftliche Fragen zu dem politisch-administrativen Krisenmanagement der Corona-Krise. Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der Hochschule für Polizei und öffentliche Verwaltung NRW betrachteten i.w.S. verwaltungswissenschaftlich das Corona-Management der ersten Monate des Pandemiegeschehens in Deutschland 2021 in einer Zwischenbilanz. Sie legen nun in der 2. Auflage dieses Bandes zum Ende der Pandemie ihre differenzierte Analyse vor.
