Not only do they influence the individual structure of organised self-help in democratic self-government, but at the same time they shape the understanding of a community as a civic ‘polis’, a successful example of mutual togetherness. From an anthropological perspective, a cooperative society’s form stands for the idea of an eternal truth because through it humans develop their personality as the telos of global history. In this way, conducting a human existence acquires a personal design. This book outlines the metaphysical nature of cooperative societies as a representation of human beings’ true form, that is, as people, in terms of cultural history.
Für die lokale Gemeindebildung ist das Konzept der Genossenschaft von großer Bedeutung. Sie prägt die Einzelgebilde der organisierten Selbsthilfe in der demokratischen Selbstverwaltung. Gleichzeitig formt sie das Verständnis der Kommune als bürgerschaftliche „Polis“, als gelingendes Miteinander in Mutualität bzw. Reziprozität. Die Form der Genossenschaft steht aus anthropologischer Perspektive für die Idee einer ewigen Wahrheit, denn in dieser Form kommt der Mensch zu seiner Personalität als Telos der Weltgeschichte. Die menschliche Daseinsführung erlangt so eine personale Gestaltqualität. Der Autor skizziert in kulturgeschichtlichen Streiflichtern die Metaphysik des Genossenschaftlichen als Form der Gestaltwahrheit des Menschen als Person-Sein. So erscheint die Idee des freiheitlichen Sozialismus und der freien Gemeinwirtschaftslehre gleichzeitig in einem neuen Licht.
