englischMicrological studies in qualitative social research as praxeology generate empirical findings on the ‘how’ of social practices, which, however, can only explain their significance as social problems beyond pure empiricism if they are measured against the normative standards of the juridical substance of a critical theory grounded in the philosophy of law and ethics. How this dialogical correspondence becomes possible is developed in this study. The tertium comparationis are the stories written by the everyday lives of people who are embedded in their grammar of dependency. Despite all differences, critical science is then to be understood in comparison to existential art and the hermeneutics of myth.
