The book contributes to this debate by comparing the stimulus policies of Germany, Great Britain, and Sweden, and analyzing the role parliaments played in responding to these crises. The processes of legislative decision-making are compared in each case with a particular focus on the role of „veto points“. The book will be of interest to parliamentary scholars and students, as well as parliamentarians who are interested in the contemporary analysis of legislative structures, actors, and processes.
