englischThe contributions of Walter F. Otto (1874-1958) in the research tradition about Ancient Greek Religion are very controversial. But his hermeneutics of Old Greek Religion is uno actu a hermeneutics of the ontological grammar of human existence. His hermeneutics is a relevant contribution to understand the problem of ontological truth and is relevant for the cultural diagnosis of human alienation in modern societies. The study is to a certain extend organized by structuralism and is able to explain that Otto offers relevant contributions to understand the fundamental questions of the psychodynamics of the human existence.
