englischSocial space-oriented long-term care has long been called for, but has often failed to be implemented effectively. At the same time, the fragmented German long-term care system is under pressure to reform itself. This book presents agency models of social capital genesis and social space development as an infrastructural approach to the reform of long-term care. Based on a social space-oriented view of social policy, the book presents the conceptual foundations of social capital and network development as well as the welfare-mix idea in the context of caring communities. Using the example of the KDA project ‘Promotion of Civic Engagement through Care Support Points’, the author reflects on the agency model and then places his results in the current discourse on reform.
Eine sozialraumorientierte Langzeitpflege wird seit langem gefordert, scheitert aber oft in der Umsetzung. Zugleich steht das fragmentierte deutsche Versorgungssystem unter Reformdruck. Das Buch stellt Agenturmodelle der Sozialkapitalgenese und Sozialraumentwicklung als infrastrukturellen Lösungsansatz vor. Aufbauend auf einer grundrechtlichen Verortung sozialraumorientierter Sozialpolitik werden die konzeptionellen Grundlagen der Sozialkapital- und Netzwerkbildung sowie der Hilfe-Mix-Idee im Rahmen sorgender Gemeinschaften dargestellt. Am Beispiel des KDA-Projektes „Förderung bürgerschaftlichen Engagements durch Pflegestützpunkte“ wird das Agenturmodell reflektiert und die Ergebnisse abschließend in den aktuellen Reformdiskurs eingeordnet.
