englischWhile the history of criminal law in the „old“ Federal Republic of Germany has so far only been covered in general overviews and monographs on individual offence areas, this volume takes a detailed look at some concise facets of the Special Part and thus continues the project that the editors began in 2020 with the already published volume on the General Part. Here, too, the individual sections are of less interest in terms of dogmatic history than in their interaction with criminal law scholarship, practice, policy and social changes. The individual approaches that the authors have sought in this regard should certainly be understood as an experiment in their methodological diversity.

Während zur Geschichte des Strafrechts in der alten Bundesrepublik bislang lediglich überblicksartige Gesamtdarstellungen und Monographien zu einzelnen Deliktsbereichen existierten, nimmt dieser Band einige prägnante Facetten des Besonderen Teils detailreich in den Blick und setzt damit das Projekt fort, das die Herausgeber 2020 mit dem bereits erschienenen Band zum Allgemeinen Teil begonnen haben. Auch hier interessieren die einzelnen Teilbereiche weniger dogmengeschichtlich als in ihrer Interaktion mit der Strafrechtswissenschaft, -praxis, -politik und gesellschaftlichen Veränderungen. Die individuellen Zugänge, die die Autorinnen und Autoren hierzu gesucht haben, sollen in ihrer methodischen Vielfalt durchaus als Experiment verstanden werden.
