englischThe conference volume records the proceedings of the 29th Annual Conference of the “Gesellschaft Junge Zivilrechtswissenschaft e.V.” (Association of young private law scholars), which took place at the University of Bochum in 2018. Under the principal topic „Structural Change and private law“, young private law scholars from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein discussed how private law reacts to structural changes in society and how legal structures themselves change. The ceremonial speech gave an interdisciplinary view on the principal topic. The speeches of the 13 young scholars from the fields of general private law, corporate law, medical law, family law, trust law and procedural law focused on several topics, such as digitalisation, big data, crowdfunding, autonomous driving and class actions.
