englischThis publication examines, on the one hand, Shiite conceptions of the state and, on the other hand, various groups of actors that had an impact on political and socio-economic developments at the time of the Islamic Revolution. The study is based on social psychological theories. It shows how enemies and narratives arose in the course of conflict between various groups and continue to affect the power struggles in Iran today. This is evident, among other things, from the Iranian political discourse on the revolution, which is still referred to as ‘unfinished’, as well as from the lines of conflict that have existed since then and continue to affect the domestic and foreign policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Untersuchungsgegenstand der Publikation sind einerseits schiitische Staatsvorstellungen und andererseits verschiedene Akteursgruppen, die zum Zeitpunkt der Islamischen Revolution einflussreich auf die politischen und sozioökonomischen Entwicklungen einwirkten. Die Untersuchung stützt sich auf sozialpsychologische Theorien. Dabei wird aufgezeigt, wie sich Feindbilder und Narrative im Zuge der Auseinandersetzungen zwischen den verschiedenen Gruppen entwickelten und bis heute die Machtkämpfe im Iran prägen. Dies wird unter anderem deutlich an der im iranischen politischen Diskurs bis heute als „unvollendet“ bezeichneten Revolution sowie an den seither bestehenden Konfliktlinien, die sich weiter auf die Innen- und Außenpolitik der Islamischen Republik Iran auswirken.
