englischColombia is currently undergoing a difficult peace process that is attracting a great deal of international attention. A central component of the peace process is dealing with the past through transitional justice measures. The work of the Colombian Truth Commission is of central importance in coming to terms with the violence of the past. On the basis of thousands of witness statements, research, workshops and other sources, the commission has compiled a comprehensive final report that identifies the patterns of violence in Colombia and articulates recommendations for sustainable peace in the country. This work presents the key findings of the commission in both German and Spanish.

Kolumbien befindet sich in einem international viel beachteten und schwierigen Friedensprozess. Ein zentraler Bestandteil des Friedensprozesses ist die Bearbeitung der Vergangenheit über Maßnahmen der Transitional Justice. Für die Aufarbeitung der Gewalt der Vergangenheit ist die Arbeit der kolumbianischen Wahrheitskommission von zentraler Bedeutung. Die Kommission hat auf der Grundlage von tausenden Zeugenaussagen, Forschungen, Workshops und weiteren Quellen einen umfangreichen Abschlussbericht vorgelegt, der die Muster der Gewalt herausarbeitet und Empfehlungen für eine nachhaltige Friedensordnung artikuliert. Das Werk präsentiert die wesentlichen Ergebnisse der Kommission auf Deutsch und Spanisch.
