englischThis anthology contains the papers presented at the annual conference of the Arbeitskreis Militär und Sozialwissenschaften (AMS), an information and communication forum for sociological issues related to the military, in 2017, which were subsequently edited, updated and expanded for this publication. The book focuses on both leadership in the German armed forces and global governance. Furthermore, the authors address important topical subject areas, such as the promotion of women’s careers in the German army plus the hybrid and multifunctional nature of soldierly life, and in doing so reveal all the facets of modern soldiering on both a national and a global level.
Dieser Sammelband dokumentiert die Beiträge, die auf der Jahrestagung 2017 des Arbeitskreises Militär und Sozialwissenschaften (AMS) vorgestellt und im Anschluss an diese Jahrestagung für diesen Sammelbandes überarbeitet, aktualisiert und erweitert wurden. Der sozialwissenschaftliche Band legt den Fokus sowohl auf die Innere Führung als auch auf Global Governance.
Die Autorinnen und Autoren widmen sich zudem wichtigen und aktuellen Themenfeldern wie Unterstützung von Frauenkarrieren bei der Bundeswehr sowie Hybridität und Multifunktionalität des Soldatischen und zeigen somit sämtliche Facetten des modernen Soldatentums im nationalen wie im globalen Maßstab auf.
