The future-oriented design practice, Design Fiction places the conception of fictional prototypes at the center of its work. Scenarios are designed around foreign objects that point the way to a preferable future. The individual phases of the workshop offer a clear structure but also provide space for creative development order to advance innovative thoughts.
The thesis has been awarded the Goldmedia Prize for innovative theses in the field of media business 2020.
Die Design Fiction Journey ist ein Workshop-Konzept zur Ideengenerierung. Strukturen aus der Zukunftsforschung, der Dramaturgie und der Design Fiction werden zu einer neuen Kreativmethode kombiniert. Die zukunftsorientierte Designpraxis Design Fiction stellt die Konzeption fiktiver Prototypen ins Zentrum ihres Schaffens. Rund um die fremdartigen Objekte werden Szenarien entworfen, die den Weg in eine wünschenswerte Zukunft weisen. Die einzelnen Phasen des Workshops bieten eine klare Struktur aber auch ausreichend Raum zur kreativen Entfaltung, um so innovative Gedanken voranzubringen.
Die Arbeit ist mit dem Goldmedia-Preis für innovative Abschlussarbeiten im Bereich Medienwirtschaft 2020 ausgezeichnet.
