englischThree articles in this volume deal with dogmatic issues in supply chain law.

A. E. Frincke discusses the civil liability of German companies under the Supply Chain Act. She examines the contractual and tortious bases for claims and a possible extension of liability by the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

M. Christiansen examines the supply chain concepts in the Supply Chain Act and the CSDDD. He analyses and compares their scope and limitations in both Acts and identifies strengths, weaknesses and ambiguities in the concepts.

L. Brunswick examines the extent to which companies' due diligence obligations actually extend to indirect suppliers. In particular, he examines the concept of "reasonable knowledge" under Section 9(3) and its requirements.
