englischIn her empirical study, Sarah Fussel deals with the Instagram project #IchBinSophieScholl. The profile of the resistance fighter, created by the television stations SWR and BR, was filled with historical content and was intended to make it possible to experience the last phase of Sophie Scholl's life virtually in real time. In order to analyze how the recipients react to the content and the highly artificial communication situation, the author categorized and evaluated a total of 340 Instagram posts. Her study paints a multi-layered and dense picture of the different reception approaches, reactions and interactions, which also allow conclusions to be drawn about our current historical culture.
Sarah Fußel beschäftigt sich in ihrer empirischen Studie mit dem Instagram-Projekt #IchBinSophieScholl. Das von den Fernsehsendern SWR und BR erstellte Profil der Widerstandskämpferin wurde mit historischen Inhalten gefüllt und sollte die letzte Lebensphase von Sophie Scholl quasi in Echtzeit erlebbar machen. Um zu analysieren, wie die Rezipient:innen auf die Inhalte und die hochgradig artifizielle Kommunikationssituation reagieren, hat die Autorin insgesamt 340 Instagram-Posts kategorisiert und ausgewertet. Ihre Studie zeichnet ein vielschichtiges und dichtes Bild der unterschiedlichen Rezeptionszugänge, Reaktionen und Interaktionen, die auch Rückschlüsse auf unsere aktuelle Geschichtskultur zulassen.
