englischThe 16 source-types of Dialectics shown in Heinrich’s recent publication are applied to the topic of love, giving just as many differentiated answers to the question of whether love can be logical. The dialogical school of thought in the 19th and 20th centuries (Jacobi, Hölderlin, Feuerbach, Buber, Ebner, Rosenzweig, Marcel etc.) was only partially right with its opposition to the subject-object dialectics of Kant and Hegel. Dialectics as well as philosophy of dialogue are both thinking in relations and opposites. On the very innovative basis of his recently developed types of dialectic, Heinrichs presents a dialogical dialectic that is also dialectical dialogic. The hitherto sterile contrast between loving interpersonal relationships and logical acuity is made fruitful, also through strong consideration of Hegel's childhood friend and co-jubilant Hölderlin. Part I contains former essays of the author, while part II surprisingly maintains, even increases, the innovative level of the recent publication of Dialetics.

»überaus reichhaltige[s] Buch[…]… die ganze abgründige Problematik von Dialektik und Dialogik
auf, die […] so bewältigt wurde wie nirgends sonst. «
Daniel Bigalke, Philosophischer Literaturanzeiger 4/2020, 328-331
